Job Description:

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Instructor specializing in Medical Laboratory Science to join our team. The Clinical Instructor will play a crucial role in providing hands-on clinical training and instruction to our medical laboratory science students.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement clinical training programs and activities for medical laboratory science students, including practical sessions and laboratory rotations.

– Supervise and mentor students during clinical experiences, providing guidance and feedback to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.

– Collaborate with healthcare professionals and laboratory staff to ensure students receive comprehensive and relevant clinical training.

– Evaluate student performance and progress, assessing clinical competencies and professionalism.

– Participate in curriculum development and review to ensure alignment with current medical laboratory science practice standards and guidelines.

– Maintain accurate records of student clinical experiences, evaluations, and assessments.

– Stay updated on developments and advancements in the field of medical laboratory science and clinical education.

– Provide support and assistance to students, faculty, and staff as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

– Diploma in Pharmacy or Medical Laboratory Science from a recognized institution.

– At least 1 year experience as a clinical instructor

– Certificate in Clinical Instruction is an added advantage.

– Full registration with a valid license to practice pharmacy or medical laboratory science.

– Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in medical laboratory science practice.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Effective teaching and mentoring abilities.

– Organizational and time management skills.

– Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and laboratory staff.

– Commitment to student success and professional development.
