Job Description:
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Health Tutor specializing in Medical Laboratory to join our team. The Health Tutor will play a pivotal role in educating and training our students in the field of medical laboratory science.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons and workshops on topics related to medical laboratory science.
– Utilize a variety of teaching methods and instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and promote student engagement.
– Assess student learning outcomes through quizzes, assignments, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
– Mentor and advise students on academic and career-related matters, helping them develop the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the field.
– Stay updated on current trends, advancements, and best practices in medical laboratory science to ensure curriculum relevance and effectiveness.
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials, assessments, and learning resources.
– Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic progress.
– Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, and faculty committees.
Skills and Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Medical Education (BME) with a background in Pharmacy and Medical Laboratory Science.
– At least 1 year of experience as a Health Tutor or in a related teaching role.
– Up-to-date registration with a practicing license in the relevant field.
– Strong knowledge of medical laboratory science principles, techniques, and procedures.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students.
– Commitment to student success and academic excellence.
– Proficiency in instructional technology and educational software.
– Organizational and time management skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
